This week in Maths we have all been busy counting.  Our reception children have been sorting objects and matching objects to pictures and numbers to find the correct amount. Our Year 1s have been busy representing numbers with objects, looking for missing numbers in a number line and finding 1 more and 1 less and our Year 2s have been counting in 2s, 3s, 5s and 10s.

Our Year 2s have also had fun in their mainstream class, learning about Henry Ford and his introduction of a production line.  They had a go at making a playdough car for themselves and then worked as a team (taking responsibility for one job each) to find which was the most effective way of working.  Like Henry Ford, they found they could make more cars in the time limit given if they worked together.
