Westbury Infant School and Resource Base

Friday 24th September Music and Computing

It has been another busy week in Butterfly Class. The children have continued working very hard in the mornings in their RWI sessions and on their Maths. We are getting much more independent getting out and putting away resources which is wonderful to see!

We finished our Geography work about human and physical features. They children are fabulous at spotting these both in our school and on photos of different towns and cities across the world. We also made our own maps of the school. It was a lot of fun looking at Westbury Infant School on an ariel photograph. We couldn't believe how big it was!

We finished the week with a music session where the children are learning to sing 'Hey You.' This week we added instruments and the children were really sensible taking turns and keeping the beat.

We also used the BeeBots on Friday afternoon. The children are getting really good at planning their moves and debugging if needed. We also used a BeeBot program on the IPads. It is great to see the children working together.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone! See you next week for more fun learning.
