As the weather gets colder we have been lucky that the rain has mostly stayed away. This means that we are still able to do lots of learning outside! We have been looking for things that are taller and shorter than us, designing road signs for our bikes, using leaves to make crowns and hedgehogs, making sparkly fireworks and creating amazing dishes in our mud kitchen. We have also been finding out about Woodland creatures and were very excited to learn a new word, ask the children if they can remember what nocturnal means.
On Thursday we went on our Explorer Walk to the park. The leaves had fallen from the big tree and we had amazing fun throwing them, jumping in the, scooping them into piles and even swimming through them!
On Friday the children thought about Remembrance Day. They watched a short film about poppies and then made there own.
We have also been using the computer to make pictures, looking at photos of ourselves, digging for treasure, measure things with pens (including Faith!) and much more. What a busy Butterfly Class we are!
