We have had such a busy week this week! On Wednesday we had a practice at being Year One. The children were brilliant and are very much looking forward to being Hedgehogs and Rabbits in September. They worked really hard for their new teachers and wrote about themselves, completed a sharing maths problem, made helping hands, explored their new classrooms and met their class mascots. What a busy day indeed!
On Thursday the children took part in their first ever Sports Day. It was so lovely to have so many parents there to support them. They were amazing competing in running races, bat and ball events, racing along with quoits on their heads, navigating the obstacles, getting dressed up and being part of the relay teams. Also great to see them supporting their colour teams too with cheers and clapping.
As well as these two super busy days the children have also managed to fir in more learning about under the sea. They have really enjoyed hearing 'The Rainbow Fish' and talking about sharing and being kind. They have been creating more gorgeous transient art and working together to make large structures with the wooden blocks.
Well done Butterflies another great week of learning fun!
