This week, we have focused on our Art skills and have been looking carefully at the work of Andy Warhol. We thought of words to describe his 'Pop Art' and agreed that the artwork is......
We decided to create our own piece of 'Pop Art', inspired by our new topic, toys. We used card to make a stencil of one toy and then drew around this to create four identical images. We then explored using different types of media (pens, paint etc...) to fill in the images with blocks of bold colour.
Mrs Budge will be choosing her favourite piece of Pop Art to display in her office .... What a tough job she has ahead of her as they are all absolutely fantastic!
We are very much looking forward to our trip on Friday and cannot wait to travel by train as well as handle some of the old toys inside Trowbridge Museum.
