This week we have been learning about Wales. A big thank you to Mrs Caldwell for coming into to talk about the country. We saw lots of special things that come from Wales, like the flag, daffodils and a leek. Some children dressed up in Welsh costumes. It was fantastic to learn words and a song in Welsh.
We enjoyed making and eating Welsh Cakes. Lots of children thought they were delicious. It was fun to eat these as we watched Ivor the Engine.
Lots of castles have come in from home and these will be on display in our "Around the World" exhibition.
A huge thank you to Miss Jelliffe's family for building our wonderful new mud kitchen. This has been popular this week, Miss Jones has enjoyed so many different meals.
We can now say our new classrooms are officially opened, thanks to the children who won the bunting competition. Lots of people came to visit the new rooms and loved looking the fantastic learning that has taken place since we moved in at the beginning of January.
