In our week after going to Brokerswood, the Honey Bees have been busy remembering the time in the wood. The children did fantastic pictures and had a really good try writing labels. Our writing is on display in the class.
The adults have been really impressed with the effort that the children have been putting into learning the letter sounds. They are getting speedy with blending cvc words and recognising letter sounds.
Keep spotting the b, d and j, which can catch us out.
In Maths we have been practising spotting and ordering numbers 1 to 10 (then to 20) and matching them to a set of objects. Honey Bees are learning to use number lines to find numbers.
The finale of our week was children in Need. The children looked great, the toys were fantastic and thanks for the donations. We hope you liked icing your biscuits.
It was great to see that a part of one biscuit was saved for a mum, showing kindness.
Well done to the Honey Bees who made it onto the Top Table for dinner on Friday, for showing good manners, you tried hard all week.
