This term has started in a really thrilling way. We have had a large number of really exciting events already.
We started with the incredible circus in which a number of Year 2 were able to get involved and one Koala helped out with a very special role. Can you spot him?
All of the school trips this year have been outstanding experiences but the visit to the Wild Place near Bristol was an especially good way to end the year. The children saw a number of incredible animals and learnt a lot of facts that will really help with our final term topic of Fierce and Wild. A massive thank you, as always, to all those who assisted in making it such a memorable and magical day for Koalas class.
We have enjoyed all of our transition activities to the juniors. The treasure hunt was no exception it was a really exciting opportunity to meet current year 3s, to see around the school and the incredible weather certainly helped.
We have used the weather to take a number of our lessons outside to create even more excitement. This is a Maths multiplication lesson. Chalk, sunshine and Maths- what a combination!
To finish of our incredible topic on the Mr Men we made some fantastic houses for them to live in. We carefully matched the materials to what each Mr Man or LIttle Miss would like or need.
See our incredible creations below.
We also had a phenomenal parent event where all of of our parents and guardians were able to come along and try our amazing range of Mr Men and materials inspired activities.
It was really a busy and amazing term and we are sure that the new term will be just as action packed.
