Children at Westbury Infants have spent the last 2 days putting together an exhibition to show case their latest learning efforts. The terms topic has been around the world and today parents were invited to come and see the spectacular hard work that the children have achieved. Year 2 have been learning about Japan and China. Children were given the opportunity to use chopsticks and taste prawn crackers with sweet chilli sauce. Year 1 learnt about Spain and Italy and had fun making Spanish omelettes and pizza. The Reception children were learning about Wales and Scotland having fun dressing in Kilts and making welsh cakes. Miss Hillier said 'this has been a lovely opportunity for the children to experience other countries and learn about other cultures without leaving Westbury. They certainly enjoyed tasting the different foods.'
