Wow, what an amazing day we had at @Bristol.
The children of Puffin class were very excited from the start as we had a very posh coach with its own TV and DVD player - we got to watch Flushed Away on the journey to Bristol which made the trip go nice and quickly.
Once we arrived the children couldn't wait to start exploring and got stuck into all of the experiments that were around. We could investigate the human body by taking apart all of the organs and working out to put it all back together again, discover the weight of a human brain from birth through to old age and also the development of a baby inside a Mummy's tummy. We were also able to experiment the light and sound waves, look at agriculture and growing plants and the children also had the opportunity to grind their own flour.
There was also an animation studio which was extremely popular as the children were able to draw their favourite characters from Aardman Animations - the creators of Wallace and Gromit. Finally Puffin class went into the 'building site' and were able to build houses and structure from the giant Lego set...definitely a favourite.
Such a wonderful day and lots of sleepy children on the way home.
