This week we have been learning about our senses and how we use them in everyday life. We used most of our senses (sight, touch, taste and smell) to describe food items from Italy - the country we have been learning about this term.
The children did a taste investigation on parmesan cheese, pepperoni and olives. We thought about and described how the food looked, what it smelt like and what it tasted like. I have to admit - olives were not a popular choice, but I was so pleased that the children were willing to try them.
Great work Puffins.
We also completed our computing project this week - a video production of a cooking show. We had our celebrity chefs making an exciting pizza, cameramen and behind the scenes experts such as hair and make-up. The children did such a fantastic job.
