14th March 2021 Back in School

It has been lovely seeing nearly all our Starfish back at school this week and catching up with each other. The children have been getting used to new routines and RWI groups and have now all been introduced to Miss Adlam, who has carried on from where Mrs S Smith left us before Christmas. 

This week we have been sharing pet photos. The children have been talking about their pets and asking questions. They have read the story The Odd Pet and designed a pet. Some children even found some time to write about them!

Mrs Russam has also popped in to see our class during our new 'fluency' maths sessions. Each day the children will be practising a maths skill such as counting backwards, ordering numbers and finding more or fewer.

On Monday we will be finishing the last week of Building 9 and 10 which the children started during Lockdown. The first part of the week looks at 3D shapes. Can the children find any at home? 

If you haven't yet returned your blue book from Lockdown, please would you return it as soon as possible. This will help us plan future learning for the children. Thank you.
