Another great week Beetle Class!
Another great week for the ‘Brilliant Beetles’. This week, we shared our learning with the whole school during our class assembly. We brought our balloon ‘globes’ into assembly to show our learning about the continents and their location to the equator. We sang the continents song for the whole school to enjoy. Linking to our geography topic of ‘Weather’ the children have used actions to help them remember the 4 seasons and we shared this during assembly too. In fact, the whole school joined in, Beetle class demonstrating ‘Excellence’ Emerald Power; sharing and celebrating with each other.
In Maths this week we have been consolidating our number bond knowledge and using it to help us with our addition and counting on to the next 10. The children have used many resources to support their learning and worked fantastically with their learning partners. Great teamwork Beetles. The number bonds song has become a favourite to sing to help us remember.

On Friday we celebrated the Harvest with a service at All Saints Church. The children have enjoyed singing the songs and well done to the readers who represented Beetle Class.

It’s Year 2 Parent Celebration Event on Monday 17th October, please join us in class from 2.15pm if you can.
Just a reminder, PE is on Tuesday and the children should come to school in their PE kit.
Next week Mrs Jeffery will be in class; Monday, Tuesday afternoon (a supply teacher will cover the morning session) and Wednesday.
