Painting, performance practices and  Pantomimes!

We have had a very busy week in Beetle class this week. OH NO  WE HAVEN'T! OH YES WE HAVE!!   HEE HEE! We have been working hard to learn our speaking parts for our performance next week and practicing the songs which are starting to sound amazing.  We have continued to learn about the American artist Georgia O'Keefe and worked hard at creating our own magnified pictures of flowers through water colours or using pastals to try and create bold bright flowers. Finally we ended the week with a wonderful visit to the theatre in Salisbury to see the pantomime Snow White and the happy ever after beauty salon.  It was lovely to be able to visit as a whole school and the children had an amazing time. There was cheering and booing, laughter and scary parts; familiar characters from traditional stories and new characters too.  Lots of fun was had by all and was a lovely way to start our festive celebrations.
