Friday 19th November 2021 Fire, Fire!

This week we started learning about The Great Fire of London as we have become historians, looking for clues from the past. The children have been fantastic listeners and have asked lots of questions to help them learn more. Ask them and I'm sure they will tell you that the fire started in a bakery in Pudding Lane on Sunday 2nd September 1666. It was brilliant that the children noticed that the buildings were made of wood. They also noticed that we had seen some very similar when we went to visit Lacock last week. Well done Butterfly Class!

We also a had a visitor in for our PE session this week. We focused on our dance skills. They children joined in really well and had lots of fun!

In Maths we have been comparing numbers and number sentences using our <, > and =. The children used a variety of equipment to work out the answers. It was wonderful to see them working so well together.
