We have had a fantastic week in Butterfly class. 

Children have been super Mathematicians and have been learning how to tell the time. They have learnt how to tell the time to the hour and to the half hour. The children have also been learning about the lengths of time and ordering them from shortest to longest.

Butterflies have also been amazing designers in DT this week. They have been learning all about different leavers. We have based our DT around the queens jubilee and have made a hinge joint to the gates of Buckingham Palace and have also made a slider joint using the Queen! Children then created a pivot joint using the Queens favourite dog, a Corgi! Well done Butterflies for a fab week.

For the parent event on Thursday please may you bring a blanket to sit on. 

Please may you have a look at home for any reading books that have not been returned as there are lots that are not making it back to school.

Miss Jackson will be teaching the class on Tuesday 24th and  Friday 27th May.
