Friday 7th October 2022!

Wow what a busy week we have had in Glow Worms class this week! I think you will have lots of very tired children this weekend.

We started the week looking at the number line in maths and we had a fun time drawing them out in the playground with chalk. We then took it in turns to jump along the number line chanting the numbers.

In art this week we have been carrying on our work with Augusta Savage and we have been experimenting with clay which the children found very exciting. We even made some lovely clay pots which we look forward to showing you soon!

Of course, we can’t forget our amazing school trip on Wednesday to the sculpture park. Although the weather wasn’t on our side the children had a great time exploring the different sculptures and experimenting with charcoal when drawing the different exhibits. They were impeccably behaved and we are very proud of them. I hope you can enjoy sharing some of these exciting pictures of the trip at home together!

Well done for a great week Glow Worms.

Next week the lovely Miss McMillan will be in class on Wednesday teaching the children and I will then be in as usual the rest of the week.
