Maths and Science

It has been another really busy but very productive week in Glow Worm class. The Year 1 children were able to show off their amazing Science knowledge to Mr Brewer talking about different animals. They also wrote the most fantastic riddles. Mrs Macfarlane was so impressed with the writing. They have also been making arrays in maths showing the rows and columns and how they need to be equal.

Meanwhile, the Year 2 children have been telling the time and making a clock to find time to 5 minutes. They have also been creating some wonderful landscapes using ModRoc. The classroom now looks very white!

Next week, the Year 2 children will be heading to Matravers on Tuesday afternoon to record a song for the Lions Concert. Everybody will be walking to church on Wednesday afternoon. If you are able to help with walking us please do come and see me. 

Miss Jackson will be in class on Wednesday and Friday next week.
