Tuesday 14th September Fun at the Beach!

Despite getting on to the coach in Westbury in drizzle, we got off in Boscombe to dry weather and the sun soon began to peep through the clouds.

It was such a joy to see the children having so much fun together on the beach. After a picnic lunch under the cover of the pier, the children dug, scooped, buried and had the most fun ever in the sand. Every where we looked there were smiling faces and laughter!

Then it was time for a paddle! The children shrieked with laughter as the waves crashed and splashed them. It wasn't long before our paddle with our toes turned into one up to our knees! The water was lovely and the sun shone down through white fluffy clouds.

After our splash, another play on the beach and a quick chance it was time to say goodbye to Boscombe. We may have been wet and sandy when we got on the coach to come back to school, but boy were we happy!

A passer by stopped Mrs Macfarlane on our walk back to the coach and said that she should be proud of the children as they were so well behaved and she certainly was!

A complete joy of a day! Well done Butterflies!
