  • Friday 24 September 2021 24th September 2021 This week our two new elected School Council members attended the opening of the new Sensory Garden. They represented the class and witnessed the Mayor of Westbury cutting the ribbon. Please do go and have a look at this new area. We will be using it a great deal for a variety of activities over the coming months. Lewis was on the 'bench' for our celebration assembly, showing off his superhero he had made, adding a cape with his name on it. The rest of the class have been spending some time drawing and talking about some of their favourite things. If you haven't yet emailed me regarding parents' evening please do so. I can then finalise appointment times. It would be wonderful to share how well all the children have settled. I also have some free goodies to give out!
  • Friday 17 September 2021 17th September 2021 Another busy week learning five new sounds, continuing to make new friends, attending our first assemblies with the whole school and meeting the chickens! As part of our Circus Day we have been spinning plates, juggling and walking the tightrope!
  • Friday 10 September 2021 10th September 2021 We have had a fantastic first week at school. All the children have settled into our routines with little fuss. It has been a pleasure to meet so many kind and caring children who are already full of beaming smiles. Caterpillar Class have already started Read, Write, Inc, learning the sounds 'm', 'a' and 's'. They have met 'Fred the Frog', completed a tour around the school, sang songs, 'climbed' the tree house, had lunch in the hall, played games, made new friends, become artists, used our new mud kitchen, sold shapes in the shape shop, dressed up and much, much more! A very busy week, the first of many.
