Christmas time for Glow Worm class

What an amazing, excitment filled week. We really got into the Christmas spirit with lots of writing and arts and crafts. 

Each day, we read a Christmas story and completed an activity. This included explaining what Christmas is to an alien, deciding what gift we would give to Santa and predicting what Bear's surprise was. The class really enjoyed hearing new stories and using the title, pictures and blurb to generate ideas of what the story could be about.

We got creative and competitive with designing a Christmas jumper. Deciding on a winner was definitely a tough job.

The children did everyone proud with their performances of 'It's a baby'. There was so much enthusiasm and buzz in class/ on stage when the children sang- it was awesome to hear!

Finally, the children made crowns to wear for our Christmas dinner. They even had a very exciting visitor.
