What a fantastic week we have had in Bumblebees this week. The children are becoming really familiar with our new routines of the day and this has been wonderful to watch this week. All our older children are becoming really AMAZING at tidying up our classroom. Our shortest record being 1 minute and 40 seconds, this involved all the children working together as a team, well done!

In English our year 1 and 2 children have continued their learning about The Bog Baby this week and created their own Bog Baby's, a habitat for it and began to write similes to describe their Bog Baby's. In math's they have been continuing to further their understanding of place value by making and ordering numbers. In science the children have learnt about habitats and how animals adapt to their habitat to stay alive.

For our youngest learners in Bees we have focused our learning on embedding routines of the day and introduced the children to some new areas of our school this week. We have spent time outdoors together in our woodland area and on our trim trail. In addition to this our learning has been all things rainbow related. We have read the story Red Rockets and Rainbow Jelly and looked at colour names and other items that may be that colour. We have also explored painting rainbows, touched and explored real rainbow jelly and looked at our own favourite colours.

Well done Bees, have a super weekend everybody.

-A quick reminder for our parents of our oldest children, if you haven't paid for the school trip please could you log on to Parent Pay and complete this, thank you.

- For our youngest children, information regarding a visitor coming to our school will be given to you soon, watch this space!

-PE in on a Monday and Wednesday, children are to come to school wearing their PE kit.

-As the weather is definitely turning autumnal please could we ask that all children bring a named coat to school as we like to get outside for fresh air throughout the day.

Thank you for your support.
