Friday 29th September

We have had a fantastic week in Bumblebees this week! Our older children have been busy reinventing the story of The Bog Baby and created fantastic pieces of artwork to add to their new stories. In addition to this the children have continued to focus on counting in 1s,  5s and 10s this week both forwards and backwards, they have tried really hard. In science they have loved looking at animal habitats and how animals adapt to their habitat to survive. Our younger children have focused on themselves this week. They have enjoyed listening to the story Super Duper You and become super heroes, made life sized drawings of themselves and celebrated their favourite colours and toys. They have shown they are great dancers, singers and artists.

We rounded the week off with our Discothon, all the children took part, we have some real movers and shakers! Thank you for your sponsorship support.

Next week:

Our older children : Trip to Westonbirt Arboretum Wednesday 4th October (Lunch provided unless your child would rather their own packed lunch). Please ensure they are wearing their school uniform and bring a coat. We will be leaving as close to 9.00am as we can on that day. If your child gets a taxi to school please speak with the taxi firm to remind them of this. We will also do this. Our youngest children have also got a visitor coming on Wednesday. We are very excited to be welcoming Little City. Our children will no doubt have lots of fun in the city role play.
