Friday 30th June

Wow! What a busy week we have had in Bumblebee's this week. Our youngest children have been having lots of fun learning all about the book, 'Sharing a Shell,' by Julia Donaldson. They enjoyed making large sea creatures and retelling parts of the story. In addition to this the children have enjoyed taking part in fantastic Attention Bucket sessions all based around the sea and seaside. In Year 1 the children have continued to look at The Great Fire of London, how it started and ordered the story. They have also focused on telling the time to o'clock and half past, learning songs to help them remember where the hands must go on an analogue clock, they did very well at this, we were very proud of how much they remembered.  In Year 2 this week, the children have been been busy continuing their learning about cars and have learnt all about the different parts of a car and began their very own car designs. In math's the children have been learning to read thermometers and record their answers. They have been practicing for the graduation which takes place on Tuesday 25th July in the WCP. All parents are invited and don't forget your tissues!!
