Thursday 20th July

Bumblebees have been really busy in the last week or so. The Year 1 and Year 2 children looked really closely at emotions and what our faces may look like and our bodies may feel like when we feel different emotions. We had some FANTASTIC actors in the room as we showed our friends and took pictures of each other. In addition to this we have worked hard to problem solve using a range of skills in maths and completed some wonderful art work based around a book called, 'The Dot.'

Our youngest children have been busy learning about 2D shapes this week, spotting them and drawing them. They have also focused on The Ocean and what creatures we may see and they have created artwork based on these.

It was really lovely to see Bumblebee Class try hard in their races for Sports Day, well done. We were so pleased the rain held out.  

We've had lots of fun watching funny poems by Michael Rosen such as Chocolate Cake and the children werent so sure about being read the story, 'The Book with no Pictures,' until they realised we had to read every single word in the book, the absolutely loved it.

Well done Bumblebees, you have been super stars!
