We had a great start to our week with the start of our new sewing theme. We thought about different sewing techniques and actually planned how we could applique our own fossil. The children labeled their designs and thought about what colours they would like to use. We then experimented with threading needles, beads and pasta to practise our skills.

We were then lucky enough to have some grown ups come in to help us with the applique. Thank you so much to those of you that came in to help, we couldn't have done it with out you! I can't wait to see the finished pictures.
