Another Fabulous Week

Firefly class are going from strength to strength. They are positively bubbling each day and taking everything in their stride. 

This week we have continued our work on shape in Maths and we were looking at symmetry. Some children began making symmetrical pictures using squared paper, followed by sorting shapes. we had to look at all their properties to decide how they had been sorted. 

In Science, we have continued to look at how we survive on earth. The children took part in an exercise experiment. WE looked at how our bodies change during different activity. We had to run on the spot, complete star jumps, click our fingers and balance on one leg all for 1 minute. Then we recorded how our bodies changed. It was great fun!

Just a reminder all costumes for the Christmas production can be bought into school from MONDAY in a named bag.
