Another Great Week

This week Glow Worm class have really excelled. They are trying hard with all of their phonics work, their maths skills and getting a long at playtime and lunchtime. 

The Year 1 children have been using rulers to measure and draw different lines and the Year 2 have been talking about why we need to exercise and looking at how our body changes. They completed an experiment to look at the results.

We were then really lucky to have a cricket workshop as a whole class. The children were taught throwing and catching, some bowling skills and how to use the bat. For those children that were captured by the workshop you can sign up for 'AllStars' at Westbury Cricket Club on a Friday evening. It is great fun!

The week ahead....

• Miss Jackson will be in class on Wednesday and Friday next week.
• Miss Thomas will continue to be in class and will sometimes be on the playground in the morning welcoming the children.
• PE will be a Tuesday and a Friday. Children will need to wear sports trousers with a white t-shirt. THEY MUST WEAR THEIR SCHOOL JUMPER. If wearing trainers please can you ensure the children are able to tie their own laces.
