Around the UK and Lifecycles

This week the Year 1 children have continued with their trip around the UK. They visited Wales and looked at the different castles. They then thought about the dragon on the flag and put these in a matchbox! 

Today the Year 1 children received a trip letter about their next trip to the SS Great Britain. 

The Year 2 children have become scientists and begun looking at humans and how we grow. They have sorted animals into ways they are born, looked at how we grow and what we need to stay alive. 

A BIG GOODBYE

This week we are saying goodbye to Miss Webley and Mrs Jeffery, two PGCE students who have been in our class since October. I can honestly say they are two of the most wonderful students I have had the pleasure to work with and have blossomed in Glow Worm class. They have formed such wonderful relationships with the children, who have positively excelled under their teaching. We wish them good luck in their next placement.
