Beans and Fire Talks!
The sun has made all the difference to the week in Giraffe Class. We are all so enthusiastic about our learning even though we are looking forward to the Easter holiday.
We have written so great innovative comic strips this week based on our story about Oliver’s Vegetables. We decided to have a little girl called Sophie who went to visit her Granny and discovered lots of different things growing in her garden, all ending in delicious cauliflower cheese to accompany Sunday lunch!
We have continued with our statistic work in Maths looking at block diagrams and pictograms. Then we had a go at gathering our own data and practicing everything we have been taught.
At the beginning of our Science block we all planted a bean seed and watched them grow, they have got so big we had to put them into pots. Everyone has brought one home, see if you can keep them going!!
We were really lucky to have a visit from Davina on Wednesday who works for the fire service. She told us about the uniform they wear and what to do in case of a fire. She was amazing!
I hope you all have a wonderful, restful Easter break and we look forward to seeing you on Tuesday 22nd April.
