Bugs and Beasties

24/03/23

This week began with the receptions Mother’s Day assembly. This was such a wholesome way to start the week and it wonderful to see so many parents there getting involved, so thank you everyone who attended!

The week in class we have been discovering all about Minibeasts! We started the week off by finding different bugs and insects in the nature gardening and collecting them to study in class, before releasing them at the end of the day. Later in the week we designed and built bug homes and hotels.

In maths we have been exploring patterns and 3D shapes. The children have learned about cubes, cylinders, cones, spheres and pyramids!

We finished our week with a trip to the church on Friday for an Easter service. The children id such a great job singing our Easter songs and did the school proud!
