Cars!

Wow!

What a week. It has been amazing. Firefly Class have been so busy and it has been so wonderful to continue to watch them grow into such keen and independent learners.

In our maths lessons this week we have been looking at volume and capacity. The children began with the most amazing lesson which involved filing and emptying containers with water! We didn’t get too soggy and had a great time. We then moved on to looking at ordering different containers according to how much the hold. Sometimes we were tricked by the shape of them and they didn’t hold as much as we thought!

As part of our computing we have been using Scratch to give instructions and spot mistakes.

The highlight of the week just had to be our last school trip to Haynes Motor Museum. This finished off our topic on cars and we had the most fantastic time. All of the children were really well behaved and the photographs just show how much the children enjoyed it. Please also check out Bee's blog page as some of the children will feature in their photos. Can you spot the £10 million car???

Next week Mrs Watts will be teaching on Monday and Friday and Thursday morning. On Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon the children will be having their transition afternoons, which they are very excited about.

Have a super weekend.
