Comic relief and Mother's day

This week in millipedes we have continued our exploration all things farm related. The children have been carting for the seeds we planted at the end of last week really well!

In maths we have had such impressive progress with most children wring some incredible number sentences this week!

 On Wednesday we had a brilliant outing to the hope valley nature centre in Southwick. They children were able to use their knowledge of pastural farms to really engage with the practical experiences at the farm park. They absolutely loved feeding all the animals and seeing animals that come from other countries around the world

 This week we have been busy with Mother’s Day preparations, which must remain secrete for now. All will be reviled in the Mother’s Day assembly next Monday. Although we can say that the children used their excellent cooking skills to make something very special for their families!

 On Friday we raised money for Comic Relief and dressed up all in red. We had a really nice discussion about why we have red nose day and how it helps children all over the UK.

 In Read Write Inc we continue in our groups. The blog is really helpful for practicing at home and has a break down of the relevant sounds and words for children in every group.
