Easter Beasts

31/03/23

This week, the last week of term, has flown by! We have continued with our exploration of the world of bugs and creepy crawlies. On Monday Miss Harris brought in some special visitors for the children in the form of frogspawn and tadpoles. This has been a great experience and the children have loved exploring the life cycle of frogs. They will return after half term for the children to see how much they have grown and changed.

On Thursday we were visited by some chicks brought in by a parent. The children were so kind and gentle with the chicks and did a great job of holding and looking after them for the day!

We finished our week with Easter celebrations. The children all made their own Easter egg prints, using their knowledge of repeating patterns, and we ended the day with our own Easter egg hunt around the school! The children met the Easter Bunny who gave them a very special Easter snack to take home!

Next term the children will have new RWI groups but in the meantime the blog is really helpful for practicing at home over the holiday.

If you have any questions regarding RWI please ask or see the link to the Read Write Inc Blog below.
