Easter and Scootability for Leopard Class!

Happy Easter!

It was a busy final week of term. The children produced some amazing work and it was great to see of all of their effort.

On Monday, we had the parent event. Thank you so much to those who could attend! We made flowers to tie in with our plants topic and I must say, they turned out great!

The Year 2 children took part in scootability on Tuesday. The children had all the gear with their helmets and scooters ready, as they travelled around the course on the playground. They came back with so much knowledge of how to stop, how to travel safely around traffic and what to do if they see someone on the path they are travelling on.

In English, the children wrote their own story inspired by Jim and the Beanstalk. They wrote a sequel to Goldilocks and the Three Bears called Rosie Red and the Three Bears.

In maths, the children did some revision and used their learning to help them think about how numbers could be made using different numbers of legs. Then, they had a go at playing some different games, including dominos, snakes and ladders and cards. They demonstrated amazing teamwork, patience and competitiveness throughout!

On Thursday, we did go on an Easter egg hunt and enjoyed a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny!

We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday 16th April.
