Westbury Infant School and Resource Base

Friday 10th June - Into our last term!

We welcomed back Ladybirds on Monday and had a wonderful PE session, moving like woodland creatures and the Ladybirds made a wonderful worm train!! They used there core strength to be able to wiggle around the hall.

We have also been learning about money this week and have been identifying and adding coins and notes. In science we have been finishing of our plants topic. The Ladybirds went and explored the school grounds and measured the trees. One person had to wait by the tree and the other had to walk forwards and check between their legs, when they could see the top of the tree, the other person walked to where they had stopped, counting their steps as they went along, to measure the height of the tree.

It was also wonderful to see lots of the grandparents this afternoon, thank you for joining us and purchasing the children's artwork. For any grandparents unable to attend, all pictures not bought will be taken out of the frames and sent home Monday.

Don't forget to check out our RWI Blog over the weekend!
