Friday 13th June
What a lovely week we have had in Bumblebee Class from our fabulous sensory swimming session to our lovely day out at Longleat - it has been great fun!
In our Drawing Club this week we have been reading the story of 'The Three Little Pigs'. Our star words were scalding, celebration, scamper, construct, obliterate, sturdy, flimsy and taunting. The children have had a great time making masks and retelling the story. They worked really well together, taking turns and listening to each other.
In our swimming session on Tuesday, the children had a great time playing with the different toys in the water, swimming under a noodle tunnel, listening to the calming music and watching the twinkling lights.
On Wednesday, we went on a trip to Longleat. We had a fabulous time on the boat, feeding the sealions and waving hello to the monkeys and gorillas. Then we went on a train ride around the park before visiting all the different animals. At lunch time we were treated to an ice cream which we all really enjoyed.
In maths, we have been learning how to read and tell the time to o'clock. The children have been amazing at showing these times on their clocks. Next week, we will be moving on to half past.
Next week:
Tuesday 17th June - Swimming
Wednesday 18th June - Lacock - please can all children wear their school jumpers and bring a waterproof coat in case it rains. They will also need to bring a backpack to carry their lunch.
