Friday 13th June Week 2
Friday 13th June
What another wonderful week it has been in Wallaby Class. The children have been really busy with their learning and its been lovely to see.
This week in drawing club, we have been reading the story ‘What the Ladybird Heard at the Seaside’. The children have been drawing and writing with such enthusiasm- they have drawn one of the characters from the story, a seaside setting and then had to think about how the police would capture Hefty Hugh and Lanky Len. In maths, we have been learning to share, looking at doubles and also taking away. They really have all worked so hard.
For topic, the children have been thinking about all the things they would need to take on a trip to the Beach and in our investigation area, as part of continuous provision, the children have been adding items to our basket. In Music, we have been learning about tempo and dynamics, how to keep ourselves safe at the Beach as well as Seaside Collages. So much fun!

- 1) Please remember PE kit for our lesson on Wednesday.
- 2) If your child has a sunhat at home, please could you bring it into school especially when it is hot and sunny.
- 3) It is our exciting BeachTrip to Boscombe Beach on Thursday. There will be a sign on the door next week with what they need to bring.
