We have had a fun week in Butterfly class! 

Children have explored all things summer in our Science. Children have learnt how the days get longer and the nights shorter along with all the lovely activities they can do when the sun is shining too! 

On Friday Children consolidated their learning about money in Maths. They set up a shop and had to calculate the cost of multiple items using a variety of coins. Children also applied their knowledge of money using notes where they had to pay to take part in a fun activity outside. - Space hoppers were a real favourite. 

Children were also lucky enough to have a visit from the Life Bus. The children were able to learn more about how to keep themselves fit and healthy as well as learning the names of the different organs in the body and what they do.

We are looking forward to our trip to Warminster park on Wednesday, but we are still looking for some parent helpers. If you are able to help on the trip please let me know.

For our trip on Wednesday please can children bring a backpack with a change of clothes along with a water bottle. - Children will be given a bottle from school but it is looking like it is going to be warm on Wednesday.
