Friday 21st January - Reading Books

Could we please ask you to have a really good check at home this weekend for any of the home Book Bag Books that your children have been bringing home since September. We are finding that we have lots of books that have not been brought back. As you know the home reading books are matched exactly to what your child is reading in their RWI sessions in school. If your child has not brought their book back to school it means that another child cannot have the book they need. Thank you so much for your support with this.

This week Ladybirds started their new Topic Geography - Where in the UK. We have been joining Paddington bear on his travels and locating the 4 countries in atlases, looking at their cities with a focus on England and London, next week we journey to Scotland and Wales! 
The Ladybirds also had a fantastic time in Music today,  we explored the meaning of Tempo and how to keep the tempo to a song using wooden blocks. They also put all their learning together to create an algorithm for their BeeBots, and identify any Bugs in their algorithm that needed to de-bugged. Well done Ladybirds!
