Friday 26th May
Bees 28-5
Wow! What a busy, fantastic week we have had in Bees! Here are a few of the highlights.
We have been busy creating textured animals, learnt how to create repeating patterns and had lots of fun reading books themed around texture such as the 'Thats no my,' books with our Reception children.
In year 1 the children have been focused on finding halves and quarters of totals, they have celebrated Shabbat and tried Challah bread with grape juice and were so engaged in the celebrations, which was wonderful! In addition to this they have used their bodies to create rhythm as percussion instruments.
In Year 2 the children worked incredibly hard to finish making puppets, showing fantastic dedication and resilience. Once they had finished they then wrote about how they made their puppets. Well done Year 2!
Thank you to all our parents that joined us for our Parent Celebrations throughout the week. We had a fantastic time on Thursday making fruit kebabs with you all. It is so lovely to have you join us and the children enjoyed eating lots of fruit and spending time with you, so thank you.
Have a wonderful, rested break. Thank you for your support this term and we look forward to seeing the children next week.
