Glorious Globes
Yesterday in Beetle class we had lots of fun creating balloon globes to help us learn where the 7 continents are in relation to the equator. We used our prior learning about equatorial and polar regions to talk about what the weather would be like in the continents closest to the equator or furthest from the equator. First we cut out the 7 continents- a continent is made up of lots of different countries. Next we coloured each of the continents and drew on the equator around the middle of the earth. Finally we used a map to help us place each of the continents correctly on our globes. Have a look at our amazing efforts.
