Another very busy week of learning this week!
In Maths we have been continuing with our place value for numbers within 100. The children are getting really good at making 2 digit numbers using tens and ones. We have been recording them using 'sticks and bits' or 'sausages and beans,' as Mrs Russam likes to call them! Maybe the children could show you at home.
In our afternoons we have been busy coding in computing. The children have been brilliant at directing each other to get to a certain place. They also designed their own Foo dance. If you want to take a look google 'Foos codespark academy' and you will see what we have been busy doing.
As we are nearing the end of term a quick reminder to keep practicing skipping at home. We still have a few children who are working towards getting a medal. It would be lovely to give out a few more before we finish Year One.
