We have had another super week this week in Glow Worms class.

We started the week with a very exciting day for our school Discothon. The children loved dancing as soon as they heard the music playing in the corridor. We saw lots of super dance moves!

In maths this week we have been focusing on greater than, less than and equal too. We have been using a variety of maths equipment to represent different number sentences using stem sentences. The children were then sorting numbers based on their size. They did brilliantly with this and hopefully you will see this in the pictures below.

We have also started our new art topic this week looking at the artist Augusta Savage and exploring her work. Our trip next week is linked to this topic as Augusta was a sculptor. We are all very excited about our visit to the sculpture park on Wednesday. Please could children make sure that they are wearing school uniform, a waterproof coat and wellies on Wednesday so they are appropriately dressed for any weather.

We finished the week with an exciting music lesson using the Glockenspiels which the children absolutely loved. I hope you can see in the pictures below all the excited and concentrating faces.

Well done for such a brilliant week Glow Worms and I look forward to sharing some pictures from our school trip next week!
