Friday 5th November - Welcome back

It was a wonderful start to the week, having all our lovely little Ladybirds back and we hope that the loveliness of ladybirds that are poorly feel better on Monday!

This week we started our new Topic - Materials. The children have been exploring different materials and their properties, such as smooth plastic, rough wood and hard stone. We will be using this new knowledge when we visit Lacock on Tuesday, exploring the different buildings and observing what materials have been used. 

Lots of the children have also been talking about Bonfire and Firework night, so I have attached a lovely story that you can share together, either on Youtube or through the PDF. I hope you enjoy.
