Marvelous Mary Anning

Well done Beetle class! You are rising to the challenge everyday, really striving to improve your learning  and setting a great example of how to behave.  We are so proud of you all! 

This week the children have continued their learning all about Mary Anning and how incredibly determined she was in what was a Man's world at the time.  She was an incredible paleontologist, collecting amazing fossils but never got the recognition at the time. Beetle class really enjoyed drawing some fossils with charcoal and took care to add lots of details.  They also wrote some great letters trying to persuade the museum to keep open the Mary Anning exhibit.
