Glow Worm Artists

It's been all about the Art in Glow Worm class this week. Both year groups have become artists and have been practicing their printing techniques. 

The Year 2 children have carved a stencil out of a potato, then used a repeating pattern to print onto a bag. The Year 1 children have cut our a stencil from paper and are using a screen printing technique to print onto a tea towel. Watch out for the finished pictures on next weeks blog!

The Year 1 children have also been developing their positional language, first by using toys to talk about how they have turned, Then they have used lots of different PE equipment to describe how they are travelling. 

NEXT WEEK

Year 1 will need their scooters and helmets on WEDNESDAY.
