Honeybees Friday 18th July

We've had a wonderful week full of creativity and imagination! The children have thoroughly enjoyed lots of role play, transforming our classroom furniture into buses, boats, and trains to take them on exciting adventures. Their journeys have taken them to the beach, the supermarket, a range of islands, and even the park.

There’s been a buzz of excitement as the children took on different roles, especially as pirates! They loved burying and digging for treasure, sparking curiosity and teamwork. We also explored science through play, experimenting with which items float or sink – a great opportunity for hands-on learning.

Despite the windy weather, we had a lovely trip to Boscombe Beach on Tuesday. The children had a fantastic time digging in the sand, filling buckets with water, splashing at the shoreline, and climbing on the rocks – they were absolutely in their element! We rounded off the day with a delicious ice lolly before heading home. A big thank you to all the parents who supported us on the trip.

From all of the Honeybee Team, we wish you a wonderful summer break!
