Irish Dancing for Glow Worms

This week, we completed our Geography unit of learning all about the UK and its countries. On Monday, the children had an Irish dancing workshop, we were really impressed with how well they all joined in and we even got to see other classes perform too! The children learned about Northern Ireland and Wales this week. They made an advertising poster in teams to encourage people to visit Wales. The posters turned out amazing.

In maths, we looked at how to make 20 in different ways and using a variety of apparatus. Then, we made our own number lines to 20 and used them to count forwards and backwards, find missing numbers and jump on from one number to another.

The class enjoyed using the Bee-Bots again in computing and this time, they worked in group to create an instructional video on how to work them. 

Well done for another great week of learning Glow Worm class.
