It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Didn’t they do well!  We thought the children were absolutely amazing this week in the performances of ‘The Sleepy Shepherd’.  From the fantastic singing to the clear delivery of lines, not to mention the 2 performances in one day!  Well done Year 2 - we are so proud of you all - you are all superstars!  Also, thank you to all the parents and carers for providing costumes and rehearsing lines at home.  Your support is very much appreciated.

We have also been busy Beetles in class this week preparing for Christmas.  We have made decorations for your trees, written poems, completed tangram puzzles as well as variety of other craft activities, a particular favourite was wrapping the shapes and guessing what shape was inside.  We had some quite magical moments in class too this week, myself, Miss Smith and Mrs Ball were treated to a lovely sing along from the children and their ’12 days of Christmas’ was simply gorgeous.  It was truly wonderful to see all of the children helping each other, giving new things a go and all the children well deservedly received kindness certificates at the end of the week.

May I take this opportunity to say a very big thank you for all your continued support and to wish you all a very happy Christmas and best wishes for the New Year ahead.

We will see you all on Thursday 5th January.  Mrs Rockey will be in class that day and I will be back in class on Friday 6th January.

 With very best wishes,

Mrs Jeffery, Mrs Rockey, Miss Smith and Mrs Ball.
